Restorative Approaches Avon & Somerset
Part Time Caseworker – 21 hours per week (Fixed Term initially to 31st March 2019)
Bristol Mediation currently provides a range of services across Avon & Somerset including Restorative Justice working in partnership with the Avon & Somerset police.
Due to changes in our casework team we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and confident caseworker with enthusiasm and energy to join our hardworking team on a fixed term initially to 31st March 2019. The successful post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills, have experience and understanding of Restorative Justice, and the criminal justice system, and a strong commitment to promoting restorative approaches. High levels of administrative, IT, organisational and inter-personal skills are essential. The successful post holder will be able to work as part of a team and also on their own initiative, have excellent listening skills, putting partner agencies and services users at ease and deal with high levels of emotion whilst remaining calm, focussed and non-judgmental.
Excellent time management, working under pressure and to deadlines is an essential part of this role whilst being able to reflect the professionalism of our service over the telephone to our volunteers, partner agencies and service users.

If you have experience and skills, particularly in the field of community engagement, fundraising, human resources, bid writing, organisational development , of course, an interest in conflict resolution and restorative justice please contact our Director, Julie Cox for further information.
General Volunteering – We are looking for volunteers to join us and support us in the office. This could include analysis of data, evaluation and monitoring, publicity, mailings, fundraising, marketing and other general admin duties.
